BioAppearance and Location
Izzie Stevens is twenty-seven years old and is a surgical intern at Seattle Grace Hospital. She is 5'9" and has brown eyes. She has long blonde hair, which is often put up because of the job. She usually wears scrubs because she's almost always in the hospital. Despite how much she believes you can still have a life being a doctor. However, when she gets the occasional time off, she wears clothes that are attractive and modern, yet comfortable.
She has one tattoo on the left side of her hip. It's small and is usually not seen.
Background
Izzie grew up in nearby Chehalis, Washington living in a trailer park. In her childhood, her parents couldn't support her financially and often left her to pull her own weight. As a teenager (16), she became pregnant with a child. Knowing she could not properly care for her child, she gave her daughter up for adoption. Her daughter, Hannah, who is now eleven, was adopted by a presumably upper class family that once lived in Santa Barbara but has since moved. After finally graduating from high school, she went on to state school.
In college, she realized she wanted to become a doctor. She continued school, paying her loans off by posing as a model in various lingerie ads. After college, she put in the time to pass her boards and continue on. She moved to Seattle to start over and become an intern.
Mental/Emotional
Izzie is an enthuisiatic person. She is usually lively and in a good mood. She is not very self-confident and often strives to really make her presense known. She may even kiss a little ass to get ahead. She is somewhat competitive and works very hard. She cares about her patients and makes sure she never lets them down or gives up. She is very emotional. She is known to bake when she gets angry or bothered.
She is social and likes to be around others who understand where she's coming from. She has a lot of good friends and is often very open to new people. She loves very strongly and is attracted to certain things in a guy. She defends her friends and the people she care about. She is very strong. She is not afraid of confrontation or making her opinion known. She can also kick ass very well, an advantage of growing up in a trailer park.
